Supporting our Communities
At Corvias the core of who we are is a team who believes we have a responsibility to make the world a better place. Our Giving Back programs are rooted in the relationships we have with our partners, employees and the members of the communities we serve. We choose to give in ways that have a long-term impact to positively influence the communities where we live and work.
Our Giving Back program is intended to provide a full circle of support for our employees, starting with time off each year to volunteer during the work day for those organizations that are important to them. We also encourage our teams to engage in volunteer activities together in support of our military, municipal and higher education partners. Since 2006 we have donated more than $1.6 million dollars to charitable organizations through our 2:1 donation match program that inspires our team members to assist those in need. Giving Back to our employees is also about building a diverse team of professionals who are inspired to do great things; creating a workplace that supports the personal well-being for employees to achieve their personal best; and to provide opportunities for them to learn and grow.
In 2006 our Founder, John Picerne, established Corvias Foundation as a way to give back to the families of the men and women who serve in the United States military. Since that time, the Foundation has invested more than $7.1 million directly to the education of scholars across the country who contribute to the future of our nation. Corvias Foundation works together with students, colleges and universities, military families, and partners to empower individuals to reach higher and contribute to communities in a more meaningful way.
